my journey

In a nutshell: I'm a Brazilian, enthusiastic and a very curious person. Besides that, I've always loved to build.

I’ve been building things for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Brazil, I was fascinated by technology, design, and the simple act of creation—my early days revolved around LEGO sets, The Sims, and Roller Coaster Tycoon. This natural curiosity led me to pursue a Civil Engineering degree at the University of São Paulo (USP) and the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), driven by a desire to learn how the world is built. But as I discovered later, the “building” I truly love is often digital.

However…

How I became a Product Designer and Manager

My trajectory wasn't so linear as it seems…

I've decided to be a Product Designer after a 1.5 years working on Tecnisa, a great Real Estate company from São Paulo and after 4 years working in Martime Logistics at G2Ocean, on which I had my first experience being a very influent logistics manager of an expressive maritime trade route (East Coast South America to the Far East).

My professional path took an unexpected but enlightening turn into maritime logistics at G2Ocean, where I managed an annual budget of over USD 100M and 3M tons of cargo. In parallel with my operational responsibilities, I spearheaded and contributed to several tech initiatives. Leading these projects and optimizing daily workflows through software solutions like Dataloy, Veson, and data-focused dashboards in Power BI showed me the power of structured information and user-friendly design. Seeing how the right interface or data visualization could transform complex processes—and ultimately boost business performance—was a key turning point in my career.

Why choosing this path?

A little overview about how I decided to be a Product Designer and Manager

Despite opportunities to climb higher in maritime logistics, I felt drawn toward the creative, problem-solving side of product development. I immersed myself in product design and management courses at IronHack and UC San Diego, fascinated by how empathy, user research, rapid prototyping, and iterative feedback loops can shape digital products that genuinely help people. This drive to design solutions for real-world challenges inspired me to transition fully into product design and product management roles.

My other passions: Music, Arts and Sports

My life is not only about work and have many other influences besides the design field itself

Beyond my professional pursuits, I’ve always found that sports, music, and volunteering sharpen my greatest asset as a product designer: empathy. Water polo and hiking taught me teamwork and resilience, music and art fuel my creativity, and volunteer work reminds me to stay grounded in people’s needs. These experiences continuously shape my approach to user-centric design, encouraging me to understand problems deeply before proposing solutions.

As of now…

What I'm focusing on right now and why

Today, I focus on delivering intuitive digital experiences—particularly through my work at dinAI, a B2C SaaS platform helping over 100,000 Brazilians begin their investment journey. My role encompasses everything from user research and interface design to backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and feature definition. I balance hands-on creativity with strategic thinking, drawing on insights from my past experiences and staying connected to industry best practices through remote courses and streaming channels.

Ultimately, I’m driven by the same curiosity and passion I’ve had since childhood: the desire to build better things. Whether it’s a dashboard that transforms how teams make decisions or an investing app that empowers users, the process of designing meaningful digital products is what keeps me excited about the field—and ready for whatever comes next.
